Martial Arts in White Plains, N.Y., karate instruction

At The Bushido School of Karate our instructors know that teaching is a privelege and an honor. Bushido's instructors
must have at least 2 years experience as a Black Belt, and be over 21 years of age.

Sensei John Moroney began training at Bushido Karate in March 2001 and was awarded the title of Sensei in July
2006. Since then Sensei Moroney has taught all levels of classes with devotion and loyalty to our students. His passion for learning
all facets of the martial arts and his background in fencing allow Sensei Moroney to offer additional perspectives and techniques to
our students training. Sensei Moroney's kids train at Bushido Karate, as well. Sensei Moroney doesn't talk about being a good
example, he shows by example!

Sempai Evelyn Schwartz has trained under the direction of Owner and Master Instructor Sensei Shahin Mehrkar
since 1994. Sempai Schwartz has been Programs Director at Bushido Karate since 1999 and earned 2nd Degree Black Belt in
April 2002. Our Little Eagles Program for Toddlers has been lucky to have Sempai Schwartz teach these classes since their
inception in 2000. Sempai Schwartz always has fun with her students while teaching them to take turns, share with others and see
exercise as a good time!

Sempai David Baez's karate training started as a child in 1990 under the direction of Owner and Master Instructor
Sensei Shahin Mehrkar. While training for his 3rd Degree Black Belt in 2007 Sempai Baez also became a member of our staff! He
earned his 3rd Degree Black Belt in July 2009 and has proven to be a well-qualified and caring instructor. Sempai Baez' children
also train with us at Bushido Karate; following in their fathers footsteps to Black Belt!

Sempai Ginger Hardman was a student in our Cardio KickBoxing program in January 2002 when she decided to give
our Karate Program a try! Not only did she give it a try, but she found her passion! Sempai Hardman accelerated her training and
earned 1st Degree Black Belt in November 2004 . Staying on course, 2nd Degree was earned in November 2006 and she is currently
in training for 3rd Degree Black Belt. It is this dedication to goals that makes Sempai Hardman a great role-model for our students!
